DAF Driver Magazine launched

18th September 2014
DAF Driver Magazine launched

Drivers of DAF trucks can read more about their vehicles and the company behind them in a new free magazine which is launched today. Called ‘DAF Driver Magazine’ and published by well-known truck journalist and editor Matthew Eisenegger, the new magazine is packed full of content designed to appeal to the men and women who drive DAF trucks on a daily basis.

The first issue features a front cover story on a splendid new DAF XF 460 delivered to Suffolk livestock haulier D Blowers Ltd, an expert test of a sleepover in a new DAF CF cab, an article about a Canadian owner driver and his Kenworth (a sister brand to DAF in the PACCAR family) and pages of full colour news and pictures of DAF developments.

Fifteen thousand copies of DAF Driver Magazine will be distributed free of charge through an established network of truckstops, truck washes and services stations frequented by truck drivers throughout the UK. You can also pick up a copy at your local DAF Dealer.  The magazine will be published four times a year with the first issue out now.

“With so many DAF drivers and owners it’s great that there is now a magazine dedicated to them,” says Phil Moon, DAF’s Marketing Manager. “We will be working closely with Matthew to ensure he gets all the latest DAF news and information for the magazine. For a long time we’ve been looking at a ‘vehicle’ through which to reach truck drivers who may not always see the major operator-facing trade magazines. So we are delighted to welcome DAF Driver Magazine to the range of truck magazines available. It offers those important people behind the wheel a way of keeping fully up to date with DAF information as well as key industry issues”.
